At the moment of writing this review, the most popular game was Spree Gold, an exclusive title powered by Fantasma Games. The good news is that you can access and play exclusive games at Spree with no purchases needed. However, pay attention to bets you must play at. In some cases, the minimum bet is set at 1,000 GC, so you may not be able to play these games if you’re running out of Gold Coins.

I really enjoyed slots at Spree, but there’s more to it. The social casino also features Slingo games and live dealer tables. Other promotions at Spree are mostly tournaments where you can win SC. Besides seasonal tournaments, you can join Sit&Spin, an ongoing competition letting you spin, steal and freeze your opponents’ reels to collect points and prizes. Each competition has its own rules, so before you opt in, make sure to get familiar with them.

New customers can take advantage of the Welcome Offer and get 30k Gold Coins for $9.99. In addition, they’ll get 30 SC, which is quite generous. On Spree.com, you’ll also find default packages at $4.99. These are always available. Sometimes, the operator offers deals at $0.99, so keep your eyes peeled for these packages.

At first, you may think Spree is just another social casino that offers a refer a friend bonus. Yet, once you start reading the T&C, you’ll notice that its policy is much more acceptable. First of all, you can get 10 Spree Coins for every referral. Second, your friends don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on purchases. Instead, a $15 purchase is enough to fulfill the requirements. Also, both of you must have your accounts verified.

What I like about Spree promotions, and particularly about its tournaments, is that there are many opportunities to obtain SC without going on a shopping spree (pun intended). So, keep an eye on the Events section and check tournaments that are added regularly.

Customer Loyalty Program

Spree doesn’t offer a loyalty program like other social casinos do. However, I don’t find it disappointing, since these schemes are typically designed to reward players who make purchases. IMHO, such a policy undermines the main purpose of social casinos: to play casino-style games for free, with no purchases necessary.

Banking 

Before discussing banking options, I must say that you must provide your personal and contact details and confirm your identity if you want to make any purchases at Spree. Although it comes as no surprise given that real money is involved, such a requirement is typically imposed later, before you request a redemption. But I understand that the operator must make sure that you are who you claim to be.

How to Purchase Gold Coins at Spree

To make purchases at Spree, you can use Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay. Like other social casinos, Spree lets you purchase only Gold Coins, but most packages contain Spree Coins, too. Gold Coins have no monetary value, and you can use them to play the games for fun only.

Bear in mind that you can make purchases using only cards with your name. Any violation of this rule may have serious consequences, such as locking you out of your account and other restrictions.

How to Redeem Spree Coins at Spree

If you manage to collect 75 SC or more, you can convert them into a cash prize at a 1:1 rate. So, 1 SC is worth $1. Besides verifying your account, you must also play SC through at least once before requesting a redemption. The maximum amount you can redeem is $5,000.

If you are looking for a live chat feature on Spree.com, you won’t find it. Instead, you can submit a ticket through the Help Center, which features various articles on topics like verification, games, purchases and more.

While some social casinos enable players who make purchases to use live chat, Spree doesn’t offer this option at all. However, you can reach its representatives through phone 24/7/365, which is a big plus.

Sincerely, there weren’t many things I frowned upon while playing on Spree.com. The lack of live chat support was one of them, which comes as no surprise at gaming establishments like this. In fact, most of them offer live chat selectively, so if you don’t buy coins, you can’t use it.

However, what really took me by surprise was the fact that you must verify your identity to start buying GC packages. Not that I wanted to avoid that, but I haven’t encountered a social casino that requires you to do that to be able to spend money.

Last but not least, I must mention that the banking options Spree supports for purchases and redemptions are not enough. As a serious player in the social casino market, the operator should accept at least an e-wallet like Skrill and online banking via Trustly besides credit cards, Apple Pay and bank transfers. That would not only provide players with more options but also make redemption times faster.
