Mega Bonanza is a new sweepstakes casino that launched in 2024. The site uses a straightforward design with a pure black background, pink buttons, and yellow highlights. It looks great on smartphones and on most laptops. That said, its appearance isn’t as impressive on larger screens. Because of that, I would recommend sticking to laptops and mobile devices.

The simplicity does have an upside. The website loads quickly even on less powerful devices, so long as you have a stable internet connection. I loved the responsiveness, especially on mobile. That said, you can tell some elements were designed with touchscreen controls in mind. Using the arrow buttons to scroll through categories is much slower than just moving it effortlessly left and right using your thumbs.

I also enjoyed the ability to go full screen while playing casino games. However, I would have preferred if full screen mode removed all the UI elements. Instead, the search bar, casino logo, and Get Coins buttons remain present above the game window.

Overall, my opinion of this sweepstakes casino’s games is positive. I love slots, and Mega Bonanza provides exactly that. Unfortunately, Mega Bonanza does not have any kind of loyalty program. That puts it on the backfoot compared to other social casinos, which use them to offer exclusive bonuses, coin boost deals, personalized gifts, and more.

While I don’t feel like the lack of a loyalty program is a dealbreaker, I still feel disappointed by its absence. It makes it more difficult to recommend Mega Bonanza casino compared to a site that offers a thorough loyalty program. If you squint, you could argue the daily login bonus fits the bill. However, if we have to dig to find a loyalty program, then it’s simply not good enough.

The only one that doesn’t is the cheapest one, which is Mega Bonanza’s way of pushing you to the more expensive bundles. That said, even the $1.99 golden coin package will unlock live chat access and the ability to play exclusive golden coin games.

If you get lucky while playing with sweepstakes coins, you’ll be able to convert them to dollars. One coin is worth $1 and can only be redeemed after being played through once. Mega Bonanza does a good job of showing you how many sweepstakes coins you have total versus how many are redeemable.

Overall, I liked the available banking options in Mega Bonanza. Buying golden coin packages is fast and easy, which is a big plus. However, the fact you can only use credit and debit cards to make the purchases does feel disappointing. I would have liked the option to use e-wallets or even cryptocurrencies to get more golden coins.

I ran into the same annoyance when I wanted to redeem sweepstakes coins. Again, we only have two options: wire transfers and gift cards. Other social casinos offer a wider variety of payment methods, allowing them to appeal to a broader audience.

You can get in touch with Mega Bonanza’s customer support by sending a ticket or email. You can also contact them by calling the number listed at the bottom of the social casino’s page. Its available 24/7 and only meant to be used for queries related to payments. I sent a ticket for the sake of testing, and got a reply in a couple of hours. Despite being slow, the agent managed to answer my question, so that earns Mega Bonanza a plus.

I was surprised there was no live chat option. However, I quickly found the reason why as I looked through the website. Unlike many other sweepstakes casinos, Mega Bonanza locks you out of live chat until you buy at least one golden coin package.

It won’t surprise you to hear that I don’t like this. Keeping the fastest and most convenient way of speaking with support inaccessible to anyone who doesn’t give you money rubs me the wrong way. It also harms Mega Bonanza in the long term. If players have problems registering an account, they will be faced with a long waiting time until they get a reply.
