This is definitely a game where gameplay trumps graphics. That is not to say that the visuals are bad. However, there is no escaping the fact they feel a little generic. The background image is a purple coloured pattern that you will glance at once and simply forget.

Symbol designs look okay, but also suffer from a lack of defined theme. All five are a different shape and colour of gem. It gives the playing field much needed diversity in terms of colours, but little beyond that. It just feels a bit dull and uninspired, especially when compared to Bally’s best titles!

Fortunately, the other elements of this release made up for the lacklustre graphics. Winfall is a medium variance slot, which tries to balance between smaller, more frequent rewards and big but rare payouts. It does a good job in our eyes. It is far from boring to play, but you can still win up to 2000x your total bet through the special features. The RTP for this game is 96% if you bet more than €2 per spin.

You can set your total bet between €0.10 and €500 on each spin. This is a rather impressive betting range, much higher than what Bally usually offers. There is also an Auto Play option if you want to skip manually spinning the reels.

Bonus Games

While not a bonus on its own, this release does have a rather unique method of granting wins. You just need three or more matching icons in adjacent positions, no matter where they are. They can start left to right, right to left, or even be in the middle three reels. As long as you have the right symbol combination, you get a win.

This works out well with a special feature many players will appreciate seeing, and that are cascading reels. After each win, icons that were part of said win will disappear from the reels. Existing symbols will fill the empty positions, while brand new ones appear on the top of the reels. This allows players to enjoy multiple consecutive wins for the price of a single spin.

In fact, this is mandatory in order to activate the Extra Diamonds special feature. Land six consecutive wins in order to activate the bonus. The action takes place on a disc with sixteen positions, twelve of which are cash prizes and four are 2x multipliers. The disc spins, and eventually stops on a position. If you draw a cash prize, the bonus ends. If you get a multiplier, all payouts are doubled and the disc spins again. The maximum prize you can win from Extra Diamonds is 500x your total stake.
