Probably one of the biggest surprise hits during 2011 was More Hearts slots, as well as it's sister game called More Chilies. This slot been a massive hit in Vegas, which just goes to show that you don't need amazing graphics to be a good game in a real money slots casino - all you need is good gameplay and a truly wonderful bonus round.
If you are on a mission of finding a game with a theme that defies all logic and reason, we dare to say that your quest ends here as More Hearts is definitely unrivalled. Saying that the theme makes no sense whatsoever is an understatement – what the developer was trying to get across will sadly remain one of the modern world mysteries. The name of the slot is More Hearts and while the title is justified by the Heart Scatters, it is still an enigma how the rest of the symbols are supposed to fit together?
With the Diamond as the Wild, the slot somehow manages to include a pretty glamorous and well-to-do Leopard, Yellow Rose, a couple of Birds, Butterfly, and a Gift Box wrapped with dollar bills – all so perfectly incoherent and absurd that it doesn't even begin to make sense, which almost makes the game psychedelically charming.
There are 25 adjustable lines, which means that More Hearts slot can be played on a single payline with a $0.01 total wager, making the slot ideal for penny pinchers. Activating all lines and setting up the bet size to $2 per line can increase the total bet to $60. That's right, $60! We have not forgotten how to add – maximising the number of lines will add 5 extra coins to your bet. This is, of course, an optional feature and you can decide not to use it and just stay with $50 per spin. In the long run, the game produces 96% return to the player percentage.
The Auto Play tab is placed on top of the Spin button, offering up to 25 auto spins which can be stopped manually. At the very bottom of the gaming screen, the players can also access their personal game history, which is available to all the real money bettors.
Diamond symbol replaces all icons except for the Scatters – the More Hearts Logo and the Heart icon. With the three More Hearts icons forming a combination on the reels, 12 or 15 Free Spins will be awarded. The number of bonus rounds will depend on the bet level – opting for the 5 extra coins will add 3 more Free Spins.
During the bonus round, an extra set of reels will be introduced and the players will collect the Heart icons, thus gradually filling up the Heart Meter, improving their chances of adding an additional set of reels. If 9 Hearts are collected, the gameplay will be transferred to 3 sets of reels and all icons on the 5th reel will be turned into Diamonds across the rest of the reels. 14 Hearts will unlock 4 sets of reels and turn all the symbols on reels 4 and 5 into Diamonds.
Lastly, collecting 30 hearts will not change the number of reels, but it will turn all symbols on reels 3 to 4 into Diamonds and the change will be reflected on all remaining reels.

Strong and weak points of More Hearts slot
More Hearts is full of surprises, especially when it comes to bonus features. With the Heart collecting feature and the additional reels sets, the game is transferred to a completely new level.
The amazing thing is that the developer does not stop at the extra reels and decides to shower the player with the highest paying Diamond symbol, which covers the reels during the Free Spins and adds an extra layer of excitement.
What has to be underlined is that Free Spins will require some patience and the feature will not be triggered as frequently as one might expect.
Although the theme can be described as random (at best) with symbols just thrown onto the reels, the lack of coherency is compensated by the thrilling gameplay and a great winning potential. One thing to be mindful of is the budget – Free Spins bonus is not something you should hold your breath for and some budget planning may be in order.
Vegas Casinos
More Hearts is now in all of the casinos in Vegas (at least all of the casinos we've been to). It took some time for that to happen, presumably because the game was such a surprise hit. It is easy to imagine that the makers thought it would appeal to a niche market, get a cult fan-base, like so many old-fashioned style games, but the fact it appeals to so many people must have come as a bit of a surprise.
Without doubt, the big appeal of this slot machine is the bonus round. It's a free spin bonus round that hits when you get a number of Heart symbols on the screen, but can also hit by complete random.Amazingly, a lot of players only think they 'deserve' the bonus when they hit it by getting the Hearts, but seem to feel guilty when they get it at random - don't feel guilty - enjoy it!
